Dimsum Brunch @ Taste Paradise Ion Orchard

We toured to Taste Paradise at Ion Orchard to have dimsum brunch before continue our shopping spree at MBS.

Crackling Pork Belly $12.80
The pork cubes were smaller than the last time I had. However, these were so good, not too fatty and the skin was craklingly crispy.

Steamed Custard Bun $4.50
The custard buns had never disappoint us. The golden filling was oozing out and the taste was delectable savoury.

Steamed BBQ Honey Pork Bun $3.90
We liked the buns. Fluffy and pork fillings were delicious.

Mini Egg Tart $3.60
This was awesomely nice. The flaky pastry was buttery and the soft egg custard was smooth.

Steamed Cheong Fun with Fresh Prawn Filling $5.50
The prawns were fresh and sweet.

Steamed Prawn Dumpling $4.80
The prawn fillings were so fresh and tasty wrapped with thin skin which you will ask for more.

Steamed Pork Dumpling $4.80
I seldom have pork dumpling but it seems a must order in dimsum list. The pork meat mixed with minced mushroom added more taste wise. Flying roe atop added it apparently appealing.

Crispy Spring Roll with Smoked Duck Meat $3.80
This ain't Vietnamese Spring Roll. The skin was so crispy and non oily. The filling contained shredded duck meat, glass noodle and spring onion bringing another earthy savoury meatiness.

Taste Paradise Famous XO Carrot Cake $7.80
Their signature XO carrot cake was really delicious. Slightly spicy but the fragrance of the XO sauce delicate for an ultimate satisfaction.

Century Egg Congee $4.50
Very smooth texture with generous egg century and shredded chicken added the sweetness of the flavour.

Overall, we were satisfied with the brunch and will be back for the custard buns and crakling pork belly.

Evening Snacks @ 4Fingers and Antoinette

Pretty sad we were lacked of time to high tea at TCC as we have to get prepared for dinner and catch up fireworks at Level 33 Marina Bay Financial Centre. So we decided to takeaway some finger bites back to hotel to prevent starvation in fact we eat non stop. Well, definitely I want my bestie to try ma' favourite chicken wings from 4Fingers at Ion Orchard and macaroons from Antoinette. We toured to Parisian sweets and then to Korean spice.

Chloe, Passion, Antoinette, Charlotte, Brittany and Grand Cru

The wings were fried to crisp and marinated with 2 flavour of seasoning sauce-garlic and spicy chili. Don't underjudge this finger-licking snack bites. I really enjoyed this intense mouth-watering without leaving greasiness aftertaste.

Seaweed Fries
Sprinkled with seaweed powder and dried chili powder added the umami  flavourful taste.

We started with decadent strips of prosciutto coiled up and rested on fresh rocket leaves with grilled pineapple. The dressing from the vinaigrette added sour hit to appetite and tastebud.

The wrap was toasted till so crispy and enough on it owns. Cut fries were not oily and definitely good bites.
