Japanese Lunch @ Zanmai Sushi Sunway Pyramid

Had brunch at Zanmai Sushi again. Long queue even it's 2.30pm. We patiently wait for bout 20mins and we weare seated at the convenyor belt counter.

Toro Salmon RM4.80, Tamago RM1.80, Inari Ebiko RM3.80, Chuka Lidako RM 3.80, Salmon with roe RM4.80 (2pcs each portion)

Niku Soba RM10.80
Soba noodle with sliced beef

Seafood Treasure RM15.80
Hot pot of prawn, scallop, oyster, cod fish, abalone mushroom, & broccoli served with rice

This is something new in the menu. The portion and ingredients were disappointing with a steep price tag. It's not worth paying RM 15.80 for this.

The food quality has dropped dramatically. We hope the management will review on it and this is definitely one of our favourite dining place.

Supper @ Darulsalam SS15 Subang Jaya

Had supper with besties at Darussalam SS15 after attended friend's wedding dinner at Passion Road KL. Here I would like to wish both of them have a blissful married life.

Mushroom creamy soup
The mushroom soup was delicious. Rich of mushroom fragrant and creamery.

Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng
My all time favourite local food. The fragrant of santan rice and crisp fried chicken was decadent and finger licking good. The sambal was sweet and spicy just giving the right kick.

Mee Goreng
Mee goreng never in my list but my bestie ordered this and she highly recommend me must try their mee goreng. I'm quite sceptical and I was totally wrong. So yummylicious. I would said this is the best mee goreng I had before.

Soup Kambing
The broth was thick and tasted super spicy. Too much of peppers and overwhelming flavour giving you a potent kick to it.

Korean Dinner @ Sarang Korean Orchard Central

Sarang or Love, in Korean delivers an authentic and gastronomical experience and it is situated at 7th floor or Ochard Central. Some of the artistes who have personally visited the place include DGNA, Z:EA, Infinite and 2AM.

The main entrance

Superstar - Jeyuk Bokeum $14.80
Stir fried, spicy pork on a sizzling hot plate. The pork was marinated with sufficient sauce. Not exceptionally spicy. We liked the well blend mashed potato and the stir fried veg too.

Korean Ginseng Soup $22/pot
The deal worth going for was the Ginseng Soup in Sarang. A piece spring chicken stuffed with glutinous is double boiled with a decent-sized ginseng root for a nourishing broth. The soup was not oily and doesn't has an overwhelming ginseng flavour. Dip the meat into salt and pepper and eat the ginseng together because it is very nutritious.

German Pork Feast @ Brotzeit Sunway Pyramid

Been to Brotzeit few times within 2 months and this was the final call for porky feast with besties in Sunway Pyramid. Bought a voucher from Groupon cost RM198 instead of RM469.80.

Pork Platter RM198
(Roasted Pork Knuckle, tendered pork roast in gravy, smoked pork sausages, grilled pork sausages, garlic pork sausages, gipsy-style pork belly, pork meat loaf, braised german cabbage and potato salad)
The portion was definitely huge and good for sharing and every bites were awesomely lovely.

Apple Strudel RM22 (a la carte)
Traditional homemade apple strudel filled with sliced apple, flavoured with cinnamon and lemon, chopped walnut, rum and raisins served with vanilla ice-cream. The apple strudel itself was tad dry but I loved the fulfilling bite and well pairing with the vanilla ice-cream with almond flakes.

Schokoladen Mousse RM19 (a la carte)
White chocolate mousse with forest berry sauce. Divine with its creamy and smooth texture definitely a simple flavour dessert.

Paulaner Bier Mixes (also included in groupon)
(Wheat beer with mango juice, Wheat beer with cola, Wheat beer woth lemonade, Original Lager Munich with lemonade)
Pretty new flavours for me as a beer lover but I still prefer the original wheat beer without addition flavours.

Home Dining @ Huck's Cafe Bangsar

Heard of the concept of home dining recently and saw few of my friends posted pics about this on FB. I've check out his FB page and found the menu was tempting and surprisely his FB page hits 7609likes here.
The 3-courses dinner range from RM88, RM138 and RM150 inclusive drinks.

Pamigiana Chicken Mushroom
The boneless chicken drumstick was well marinated and topped with cheese and baked to perfection. The sweetness of the curry sauce tasted more likely to Japanese curry.

Cottage Lamb Stew Pie
One of the best seller in Huck's Cafe. The chunk lamb meat stewed for 3 hours and baked about 45mins is a must try dish for lamb lovers. The lamb itself was not gamey and every bites revealing the flavourful of the lamb. Potatoes were grained and baked providing a contrasting texture to the otherwise velvety dish.

Huck Lemon Roast Chicken
No.1 Huck's Cafe best selling dish served with whole tomatoes, chunk carrots and potatoes. The chicken meat is slightly dry.

When Salmon Met Scallop
Huge sliced of salmon I ever had! The salmon was grilled to perfection, well marinated and tangy sauce made the dish more appetizing. The baked scallops were delicious and the cheesy did not cover the freshness of the scallops.

Sweet and Sour Roast Chicken
Huck replaced our mushroom chicken pie with Sweet and Sour Roast Chicken. The tanginess sauce looked likely to Assam Sauce which was so vivid and alluring.

Chocolate Mudpie Ice-cream
This dessert was really good. Soft, moist, buttery and nutty with strong taste of choco.

Durian Mudpie Ice-cream
A must try for durian lover. The sweetness and bitterness of the fresh durian hit you and not overly pungent.

Strawberry Jelly
This jello with fresh strawberries and laici was quite ordinary.

The Classic Creme Brulee
The best among the best dessert in Huck's Cafe. This was the nicest creme brulee I had so far. Sweet, rich, creamy, and heavenly delicious. Ask for more!

Basil Seed Mint Soda and Lemongrass Soda
Basil Seed Mint Soda served after you have been seated and Lemongrass Soda serve in the mid of your meal. So refreshing.

For RM88/pax I have to say the food worthwhile with a steep price tag. Huck used mostly natural ingredients in his cookings. The portion served was so big and definitely enough for sharing. The ambience dining experience definitely a good place for you to chill out with your friends or families. Reservation is mandatory due to limited seating capacity.

High Tea @ Cova Pasticceria Paragon

My sweet tooth is craving for sweet and I choose Cova Pasticceria which is situated at the far end of the first floor in Paragon Mall. It is seperated into 2 sections -indoor area furnised with warm lighting meanwhile outdoor area is more to casual dining.

The interior setting kitled out with lots of gold decorations and warm lightings which reflects the European majestic ambience and definitely set you in the mood of romantic dining. There is a long selection of pastries and cakes will make u spoilt by choices.

They also have myriad of chocolates, cookies, bottled jam, olive oil and balsamic vinegar prettyly packaged and displayed at the back of the restaurant. It can be a good idea to choose any of these as a gift to someone for all occassions.

Mango Cream. $7
I asked the staff which is their best seller and she pointed this cake to me. The cake topped with fresh mangoes and rasberry served with fresh cream. The cake is so delightful and fruity.

As you can see the sponge layers are filled with fresh mango and whipped cream. Premium mango and well assembled gives a tropical taste.

Paradise Kiss. $7.50
I ordered tea instead of coffee though its Cova specialty because I feel like mango cake goes better with tea. Paradise Kiss tea is aromatised white tippy tea blend of passionfruit and coconut with floral collage of rose, marigold, promegranate, cornflower and sunflower. Sound complicated rite but high in antioxidant contains.

The outside area.

For those who has a greedy palate, you can try out their mini tarts or mini cakes but it aint cheap. Cost $2.10/+ per piece. Their cakes range from $6/+ onwards.

The mozarella cheese was perfect in simplicity nature flavour together with the fresh vegetables. The cured meat sliced in perfection and well complement with rock melon and pickles.

Piccolo Caciucco alla Livornese
(Snapper and Seabass Fillet with mussels, clams, prawns and calamari cooked in a lighly spicy tomato broth. Served with homemade garlic bruschetta bread.)
The fruits of the sea swam in tomato broth was tantalizing and utterly savory tasty.

Pappardelle con salmidi cervo e pinoli tostati.
(Pappardelle with red wine braised New Zealand Venison topped with toasted pinenuts)
The venison was so tender and it melted immediately in my mouth. I liked the buttery tasted pappardelle with the pinenuts.
